My Most Important Theory
Wormhole Theory: I started to develop this theory when Desmond returned to The Island. He revealed that he had sailed due west for two and a half weeks at a speed of six knots. He should have landed in Fiji, but he returned to The Island. He remarked that they were trapped "in a bloody snow-globe".
I found this puzzling. Where on Earth is there a tropical location where you can sail due west for 2,520 miles, and return to the same location? Answer: no place on Earth. Therefore, our LOST friends are on another planet. How did they get there? Well, what if there was a portal, somewhere in the Pacific that could bring you through a wormhole to another planet? What if that planet had a climate just like that of Earth? It has an ocean, and an island, and its total circumference is 2,520 nautical miles. It's a little mini-Earth. Maybe it only has the one island. Well, two if you count the island that The Others are on.
Atlantis Angle: Other LOST bloggers have proposed that The Island is Atlantis. They offer The Black Rock as evidence. How does a boat end up in the middle of an island? Easy! The island is under water. The boat sinks, and lands on the island. The island rises back above water. What island is underwater? Supposedly, Atlantis. Well, I submit that Atlantis was swallowed by the wormhole that swallowed our castaways' plane. Atlantis, and Flight 815 are on another planet. They got there through a wormhole.
That's my theory. Tell me I'm wrong, Mr. Abrams. Deny it, Mr. Lindelof. === More on this soon.
Next, I will talk about how tonight's episode plays in, also, the significance of A Brief History of Time. -Lostaholic
